Welcome to my online diary, enjoy your stay!
I am new to website editing, so please bear with me. I am sure I am making mistakes, but it's good fun anyway!

Hello folks!
Time to add a little. I have been busy doing the Church newsletter, and my lovley son Mark has added some more poems for me. I don't think he realises how many there are in my files! Thank you Mark. My latest poem was about Remembrance and the ultimate sacrifices of so many lives in wars. Peace begins at home and in the heart. There is sadness at the moment as two policewomen have been shot, one fatally. How can anyone think they have the right to take another's life or health away. We need as Christians to somehow touch the hearts and minds of those who care nothing about others or God. "Pray them out," a friend once said to me. I used to be a District Nurse and many elderly people said they felt they were useless because they could not do anything for anyone else. I said they could pray! We all need prayers, myself included. Prayers for others work better than prayers for oneself. I derive a great deal of support from the thought that others pray for me. ( At least they said they did!) On a happier note, Christmas looms ahead. I have to write a poem for my Chrsitmas message to friends and family. (Who does she think she is..the Queen?) Naaah..... a mere mortal! God bless all. Cecilia.
